m3lv's having tough time being patient for the internet connection as it gets suck-y to suck-ier day after day after days after DAYS!!

I was using Streamyx all the while and I've got no problem with it until recently after the earthquake in Indonesia, somehow the connection becomes unstable & I wonder is it really the after effect of the damn earthquake which cause my connection becomes like that >< style="font-weight: bold;">green and instead it was red all the while == Her parents got pissed and so do her as well, and she's gonna return to it.

Since her place does not have the coverage, eventually m3lv place do have BUT its not fast == Instead I feel that Streamyx is even faster than P1 or maybe because I'm living on the 15th floor that is why the coverage is not that good? Anyhow, P1 should make an effort to solve that not me =/ The supplier should always satisfy the consumer and not vice verse *wink*

Seeing the availability of different types of broadband that we have in our country I can say none of it that we can rely on.

Last week, I went for a Interview with a "mat salleh" company, and he told me that "Malaysia's Internet speed is amazing!! Its 10 TIMES slower than the States!!" & all I can do is just keep my mouth shut being. That is really embarrassing and on top of that, he even say "Malaysians can speak really good English along with the slang thing BUT when it comes to writing , you guys are poor, really poor" & again, I just kept quiet and look at him ==

All right, get back to the topic.

Just see below, some of the broadband company that we have in our country.

They were monopolizing for quite sometime till now, there is competition and there are companies which offers a much more cheaper rate to compete against Streamyx. I do prefer Streamyx but its killing me right now with the unstable line ==

Then there's P1Wimax. People say that its fast and I'm using it myself right now. I don't feel that its fast in anyway. The page loads slower than Streamyx == Luckily I belum POTONG!!

I've got no idea bout DIGI yet but I would love to try ><

Totally clueless about this and I won't even bother to give it a try.

Received loads and loads of negative feedback about it & that sum up to my conclusion.

Have tried this in 1U when they have a booth there. The speed is awesome but then It ain't cheap as well ><

What do you guys think? Stick with Streamyx or jump to another ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

Reminiscence of The Not So Past

Suddenly m3lv feel like blogging about the past. A nice memory, that's still fresh in my mind =)

After the previous post that I blog about, m3lv got the urge to share the excitement that I had when I was in the National Service Training Camp.

When I was in Form 5, I was 1 of the "lucky" students which was selected to participate in the National Service. At first, I was cursing the *MF* which put my name in the list. Then it was 01-01-2006. The very first day for the year 2006, I leave my family and went to a place full of strangers.


Eventually, the first day is the worst day through out the entire stay in the camp for m3lv == I vomited in the camp when we're in a "fall in" position (like the above pic) & then at night, we got punish for heading back to our dorm(dormitory) early. For that, we get some push ups punishment ==

As days pass by, things got better, m3lv get to know lots of friends within a week & for the first month in the camp, I did not smoke!! Till I got out from the camp for CNY == That's how I got the bad habit back in me ><

1 Box (20 stick): RM50.00

Lolx!! m3lv remember that very well!! Life was luxurious for me in the camp. For normal trainees, they'll most probably have 5 meals in a day provided by the camp which is

Breakfast --> Lunch --> Tea Time --> Dinner --> Supper

But as for m3lv, its..

Breakfast --> Lunch --> Tea Time --> Dinner --> Supper --> Supper Xtra!!

Lolx!! That's where my earning goes == food & telephone card ><>*wink*

It was really a great chance for m3lv getting to visit so many places & don't need to pay a single cent ^^ on top of that, during our visiting time, its our precious moments to get to know some chics =/ lolx!!

Not bad eh ;) Then the activities organized was whole lots fun as well!!

We build the raft by ourselves & during the race competition, it was so damn fun!! I was the commander of the raft, something like the captain~lolx!! Teamwork is so important for this race, if there's no teamwork, your raft will be floating in the middle of the lake ><

When the final day comes. Its time to say goodbye to everyone there and that's the saddest part through out the whole National Service Program. m3lv eventually cried when we're about to leave the camp, seeing my friends go, somehow its unbelievable, the bond which last 3 months is so strong!! So strong that I cried == WTF!!

Anyhow, I still keep in touch with some of them ;) Especially KaiKam & HuiLi. They're my closest NS friends till now ^^ And if I do have the chance to get back into National Service, I'll definitely go again!!

Hui Li's 21st

This friend of mine, me know her since the year 2006 during the National Service that we enrolled in Tapah ><

Yes...that's the bald m3lv == back in the year 2006

So it has been 3 years m3lv knew this girl. Wow!! Time does flies!! Its just like m3lv got to know her yesterday in NS and now its like 3 years already >< But in the camp, I was not that close with her yet till we were release from "custody" after 3 months being "locked up". Lolx!!

It was indeed a great experience to be one of the thousands participant which enrolled in this programme. m3lv never regret being selected in fact, I felt gifted getting to know bunch of great peoples over there and even some, m3lv is still keeping contact with them especially KaiKam.

Anyhow, getting back to the main topic before I change the supposed title to a non-related title =X und?

So yesterday was HuiLi's bday and we went Kepong to celebrate for her. A very old fashioned way I suppose, hope she don't mind =X We went to a famous crab restaurant over there.

Prawn-ing?

Do you know what is prawn-ing? Actually it has the same meaning with fishing just that for fishing, its when you're trying to fish a fish. Get it? And as for prawning, you're trying to fish a prawn =) As simple as that. Lolx!!

Actually prawning has been around for several years and last Wednesday when I went back to Ipoh, my buddy Vic wanna try it out. And off we went =)



Prawning is all about patience & skills. You gotta be patient to wait the prawn take your bait. Then you'll need the skill to hook the prawn. It looks easy but its not!! For 3 damn long hours, m3lv only manage to catch 3 prawns == And I've missed A LOT!!!
