Iphone 4 : Digi Vs Maxis

Do you guys know that the Iphone 4 is finally available in Malaysia, officially? Yea, both Digi & Maxis telco have launch the phones.

Few days back, Maxis released their rates much early than Digi which only release their plans yesterday and I was surprised to find out that Maxis plan is much better than Digi!

VS

I'm sure everyone is debating about it and here's my personal opinion. By the way, I'm a Digi user.

1.) Even though the monthly commitment for Maxis is much higher than Digi but the price of the phone is much cheaper. I'm talking about the Iphone4 plan. So Maxis wins for a cheaper Iphone4 price.

2.) Do bare in mind, Digi i88 which currently, the monthly commitment of RM63/RM58(auto debit) is only applicable for the first 2 years (24 months), thereafter, your commitment will be back to RM88, anyhow, its still cheaper compare to Maxis, on top of that with the unlimited Data for Digi users. So Digi wins the Iphone4 plans.

3.) Now, what I'm attracted with is the contract period of each telco. Digi is plans are solely for 24 months period where as for Maxis, you can choose either for 12 months or 24 months period. Getting your Iphone4 with a longer contract period, definitely the price of the phone is cheaper BUT this is only applicable to Maxis. As for Digi, the price of the phone is the same and that's because they only have 24 months period subscription plan.

4.) I do not know why Digi would like to twist and turn in their rates/payment options. To me, its totally bullshit. End of the day, the price of the Iphone is RM2090 for 16gb & RM2490 for 32gb. Its just rebate of RM200. They show you the phone rebate price, your total plan savings and the combination of both, they're literally trying to divert your mind. Some con job by Digi.

5.) Now, for existing subscribers for both telcos. Digi do offers Iphone4 for their existing subscribers and they will be able to get the phone without contract! BUT they're not allow to trade in. So existing subscribers will have to keep their current Iphone 3GS. Well, but there's rebate of RM300.

As for Maxis, I'm not so sure with it, I think you retain your Iphone 3GS, renew your plan and get the Iphone4 at the current rate plans. So which do you think is much worth it?

My cousin told me not to get android phone, instead go with Iphone 4. If I do get Iphone4, imma get it from Maxis! I still think Maxis is much worth it than Digi because of the 12 months contract! Its cheaper! Why do you wanna bond yourself so long with a telco? I believe most existing Digi's Iphone3GS users are disappointed as nothing on the new rate plans benefits them!

Well~I would rather go for a company that cares for their customers more than shareholders. In the end of the day, its the consumer which generates the income for the company, not the shareholders.

Into Fishing!

I've not been updating lately simply because I just got nothing to blog about nowadays. No outing, no events, no celebration and all about work >< Boring eh!

Anyway, as you can see on my previous post, yes! I'm very into fishing! I've not got any monsterfish till date and the heaviest that I've got so far is barely a kilo ><

Fishing do requires lots of patience. Sometimes you'll only get a fish after 2 hours, 4 hours or even none! It depends on your bait and luck as well. So if you do not have any patience, this game is not suitable for you.

Actually, there's many types of fishing methods such as bottoming, baitcasting, fly fishing or jigging and many more! Different methods are used for different type of fish.

Bottoming is the most common way of fishing, this is when an angler will throw the bait into the water and wait for a bite! Sometimes, even though there's a bite but that doesn't mean that the fish will be hooked! If the hook that you use is big but the fish is small, basically you're just feeding the fish. Alternatively, some people will focus on the line, if any movement on the line, he'll pull the rod so get the fish hook. Surprisingly, it do works!

As for baitcasting, this is where the angler will placed a frog/fish as bait, its also known as live bait! YES! Fishing is cruel though but the excitement is totally awesome! The angler will throw the bait as far as possible and reel it back and then throw again. By repeating this, the fish will get attracted and will bite on the bait. Nowadays, most anglers uses the lure ( artificial fish ), its much cheaper, long lasting & not cruel. Baitcasting is only meant for predator fish though.

After almost a month m3lv didn't go fishing due to the Hungry Ghost Festival and now I'm back in action, I've got the worst fishing experience.

m3lv was fishing at Titiwangsa lake. I saw some big fish and was trying to aim them BUT they just don't give a fuck about my bait =="

The fish saw my bait, don't give a damn about it and literally swam beneath ==" Not 1 but a couple of'em! That got me so frustrated! I rather not see what's the fish is doing~Lolx!!bugger!

I've gotta go do some shopping to get my gears again!

Alright~That's all for now! BYE!

Double Kill!!

Last week, m3lv went fishing with JD ( my fishing partner ) after work. To the same spot as from the previous post and guess what....

m3lv got 2 fishes at 1 time! ( Ignore my stupid face )

At first, I thought I got a big fish because it took me about 3 minutes to land it. When almost reaching to the shore, then only I realised there's 2 fish! Lolx! Guess I'm lucky =)

Alright, that's all for now. Imma start hunting Toman again after this week!
