Skytrex @ Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam

Last weekend the company's Sports Club have organized an event at the SkyTrex Adventure in Bukit Cahaya Shah Alam. If you wonder what is SkyTrex....

The Flying Fox

Got the Idea now? Its like a obstacle course in the forest!

Best thing about this event was Its fully paid by the Sports Club ^^ And there's even buffet after our challenge. Not bad eh!

So we reach the Bukit Cahaya Park about 9.00a.m. and you actually got the options to either walk, cycle, yes cycle, you can rent a bicycle there or take the bus provided. As for us, we took the bus!! And I can tell you that's the best choice!! You wouldn't wanna walk up hill or cycle up hill, seeing them is just tiring >< Lolx!

People queuing for bikes

In the bus going up!

See!! Its going up hill, no point taking a bike, you'll end up pushing~lol!!

We were excited upon reaching, wondering which course we'll get to play. There're a lot of SkyTrex course available, from The Little Adventure to The Extreme!! But as for us, we went for the Big Thrill, Its in between Little Adventure & Extreme.

I think Little Adventure is for the kids, and the Big Thrill is much suitable for adults. You'll get what I mean If you were there. But I didn't manage to take pic for Big Thrill because they don't allow you to bring your SLR's up there!! You're climbing a freaking 10 storey tree and are you sure of bringing your precious SLR there? You can bring your digicam though because you can keep it in your pocket. m3lv don't have a digicam.

Tall tall trees

People from the same department as me. The Auths!!

And then, there's a short briefing session, which we get ourselves a pair of gloves for free as well. ( Company pay ma!! ) It'll cost you RM3 per pair.

Imran & Zurita

Want a piece of me boy?

Once you got yourself the glove, then Its time to get the Harness. This is FOC, Its already included in the package. The Instructor will brief you about the "equipments" that you're about to use.

It took us about an hour to complete the 23 challenges for Big Thrill. Its fun but Its tiring as well. For m3lv, almost every challenge is a Flying Fox because I'm just lazy to do it the proper way Instead, I just fly myself.

Imran, m3lv & Azwan

After our buffet, we waited for the bus to pick us up. While waiting...

A colleague of mine teach me to capture this
Do you see the stars? This pic is not edited :)

A group shot for the attendees, I'm not there, I'm holding my SLR ==

Thank you Sports Club!

Ow yeah, If you wanna go, check out this link more info available there ;)

The Annoying VUVUZELA

So how's your favourite world cup team doing? The match is so unpredictable right? Same for m3lv, I supported Spain and the first match they just go tumbling down. Anyway, Its just the first match and there are 2 more games remaining for groups stage!

Do you like the sound/noise while watching the match? 80% of the noise comes from the VUVUZELA!!

The sound is just so annoying! I wonder how the players can cope with it. I can feel their stress on the field especially when the team which is losing.

I wonder If we can get this in Malaysia? Lol!! I'll be vuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-ing all the way watching the match If I got 1~YEAH!

Wanna try this virtually?

Photography : Colours

I wanted to participate a competition at Photo Malaysia's forum with the theme "colours". So I browsed FLICKR to get some Ideas and I've found some Interesting pictures over there especially drops of water on a CD.

Image after crop

I do not have a proper lens and I can't go to near to the droplet. So I cropped the picture. The droplet is not sharp enough though but my main purpose is to show the colors. Some fancy Idea I've found on the website. Its interesting & definitely fun taking these type of pictures!

Try It yourself. If you have a macro lens or the extender thingy or the close up thingy which could helps you, I'm pretty sure the effect will be much more amazing than mine ( mine is nothing though ). Just want to share this Idea with you guys.

Believe it or not, you can actually take this picture using a normal camera phone as well. And I'm not kidding you!

Taken Using Nokia N79

Taken Using N79

What do you think? Picture quality ain't that sharp compare to a DSLR of course. The point is, you can take this kind of picture using any camera device that you have but you will require patience to focus on your subject and creating the effect such as the spectrum.

I was too late to participate in the contest though. GOSH! Well, at least I've learn something from FLICKR!

Another droplet shot!

WWDC 2010 : Iphone 4 Revealed

So Steve Jobs has revealed the latest Iphone which everyone is talking about now. Some says Its called the 4g well, Steve says Its Iphone 4.

pics via Gizmodo.com

The phone was actually revealed in Gizmodo.com when they found it sometime back. So most people thought that Apple might come up with another design to proof the leaked phone a false Iphone. Instead, Steve Jobs bring the exact Iphone in Gizmodo.com.

To me, the phone looks fatter than the 3GS but according to Steve, Its slimmer, faster, better display with the latest technology, the Iphone 4 features the "Retina's Display". They do have 3G calls but only available via WIFI? I don't get that part though.

The Iphone 4 got multi-tasking as well. But It don't look like multi tasking to me though. Its more like you do not need to close 1 apps to open another apps. Get what I mean?

So is Digi customers upset when this phone is launch and will be in the market by June but I guess It will reach Malaysia by end of the year perhaps? Let's see what our telcos can offer.

Me still feel android phone have more cooler features than the latest Iphone though.

Head on to www.Gizmodo.com for more info!

m3lv's And The Chocolate Factory

As you can see on my previous post, I've blogged about the chocolate buffet. m3lv went there on Friday Itself! Did you watch Charlie & The Chocolate Factory before?

pics via google image

Well, this post is about m3lv & The Chocolate Factory!Nah~

Beryl's

The crowd was huge! I think Its the first time ever the factory got tremendous crowd. Since there were too many people, the authorities try to stop everyone from flooding into the factory hence we'll need to wait for our turn by queuing outside the factory!

Crowds from all ages, from old folks to babies~lolx!

Then, we enter the hall.
People queuing up for chocolate!

The visitors are only allowed to hang around in the hall only. No one is allowed to enter the any other place except for their chocolate mart.

Beryl's Chocolate Mart

When we go for buffet, automatically we'll think about the buffet style in restaurants where you can grab all you want by yourself. For Beryl's case, its queue up and the staffs will give you the chocolates. Its a good thing though, so that the crowd is under control. If not, everyone will be pushing one another and there definitely will be arguments. Thumbs up Beryl's!

Staffs giving chocs. Its all FREE!

Unlike Charlie's Chocolate Factory, Beryl's don't have a chocolate river
pics via google image

If Beryl's got this chocolate river, then no one needs to queue. You can just jump into the river by your own risk! Nice eh?

Since Beryl's don't have the chocolate river, we were given a cupcake wrapping thingy, I don't know what its called but anyway...this...

Chocolates!

And here's some pictures:

Everyone just loves chocolates!

Thanks Beryl's!!

Thoughts : Our Smart "Gomen"

Our "gomen" is getting smarter and ridiculous nowadays. I don't know how long will this last and it seems forever. I just wonder how the hell that they could be the "leaders" when they are just some dumbass proposing stupid plans & projects.

Some even had BACHELOR or MASTERS. I think they just print that piece of paper themselves. The country is becoming like shit already. Fucked up..to be exact.

The Pahang Mentri Besar will launch a race event for the MAT REMPITS. Winners will receive RM10,000! WTF?!?!?! The purpose of this is to curb these MAT REMPITS from doing illegal racing which m3lv thinks this is a totally STUPID PROJECT ever did by the gomen.

Our own hardworking money from the tax goes to MAT REMPIT?! What a stupid Idea these gomen have. That RM10k can be use for so many things and this dumbass comes up with the stupidest idea ever.

If the gomen would like to reduce MAT REMPIT, its very simple. Banned all this small bikes, such as the Honda EX5, Yamaha Lagenda, Modenas Kriss etc & Implement big bikes like the Kawasaki Ninja, Yamaha YZF series. These rempit bastards don't have the money to buy this bikes & there you go, problem solve!

We have public transport, so you stupid gomen can get more income when this MAT REMPITS use public transport right?

If you're saying MAT REMPIT using big bikes still will race in the street, think again, small bikes & big bikes are totally different. Have you ever see those bikers street racing? At most, they will just do the "convoy" not like those paria MAT REMPITS acting like they are the "King of the road".

So stupid gomen, If you do read my blog, think about It. Stop wasting your RAKYAT money already. I know you do make alot of money just by simply organizing a stupid event, but please make it a win-win situation for the RAKYAT and yourself. Pathethic gomen.
