The beloved asked me to blog about our Penang trip. But I just don't feel like blogging about it. I did went to Penang but the pictures taken don't look like we're in Penang.
The trip was about 2 weeks back. The 5 of us which went to Ipoh last year, this year around we went Penang.
The gang which went Ipoh last year
Alright. Just some summary from our Penang trip.
We stop by Ipoh for brunch at the famous Foh San Dim Sum, man that restaurant is huge! Its been some time since I went there and the last time I went, It was still at the old building located nearby the Ipoh's trademark "Chicken + Bean Sprout" Restaurant.
Some of the Dim Sum that we ordered
The size of the tart, the "har gao, siew mai & etc" is bigger than the Dim Sum shop in KL >< And the price is cheaper too!! Though it looks like we ordered just a few, but we can't finish it either. The portion is too much for us!!Lol!!
We reach Penang about noon. You know what, the main reason m3lv don't feel like blogging about this trip is because 80% out of the total pictures of the trip is.....
The 3 of them == This was in the car
And then in the room == There's more!! I'm just lazy to upload ><
After few hours drive from KL all the way to Penang, relaxing and chilling out in our apartment is a must!! And our way of chilling was
A few games of mahjong to stimulate our mind ><
If you're in Penang, you never wanna miss out the famous fried oyster!!
And the infamous Ikan Bakar?
The Ikan Bakar that m3lv & the beloved had in Cherating was better though ><
There were lots of MUST visit place in Penang and one of them is
The Gurney Drive
This place has never change. I think every night, there will be locals + tourist sitting there wasting their time chilling by the sea.
When you're in Gurney Drive, Its a must to whack the "tong sui" there
Bobo Cha Cha
m3lv had this Bobo Cha Cha. Damn that is nice!! Just loves the sago alot!!
The following day, is our temple visiting day. We visit almost all the famous temple in Penang. Such as...
Sleeping Buddha
The entrance to the temple
The Burmese Temple
In the temple, there's a tree with lots of money hanging and most of it are RM1 note, guess that's the donation from the generous people. Well, we wanted to be generous too!! Hence...
We donate Albert's Gold Card =) So generous aren't we? ;)
The weather was so intense in Penang that m3lv & the beloved decided to get ourselves ICE CREAM!!
Look at her expression!! She loves it!! =D
And then, we drove all the way to the Snake Temple. During our journey there...
again...
and again....
They're trying to invent some new style I guess =="
Anyway, when we reached the Snake Temple, It was raining ==
So we decided to go to the Queensbay Mall!!
Nothing special bout the mall. But there are some nice spots so snap pictures outside the mall!
Penang Bridge
The 3 stooges again. This time showing their butt.
When the rain finally stop. We went back to the snake temple.
Yea, there are lots of snakes!!
Viper!
All the snakes in the temple are of the same species. The viper. Its poisonous but I guess they won't sting you If you don't disturb them. They were sleeping when we went there. The snakes did not move at all == Or may be its a toy that look very real?? No idea.
And our last stop was the famous Kek Lok Si Temple.
The temple is really huge!!
The temple is actually build on a hill. You can actually see the whole Penang Island. Erm..almost whole of Penang...
The pagoda is really high!! We did not climb up though.
The Biggest "Kuan Yin" statue I've ever seen!
That's Mei Yoke, praying to pass all her subjects so that she can graduate ><
After a long day, after done visiting all the temples. We went back to our apartment to relax and chill by..
Playing the mahjong that I bought. Its a mini mahjong actually
See how MINI!! And look at my tiles!! Muahahaha!!
On the 3rd day, we took the ferry to the mainland.
A view from the ferry
And this is our only group pic >< Gosh!!
And while on our way back to KL...
again.........oh my....girls~
Ok~Thats all~BYE!!
